Dr. Garber is the Co-Editor in Chief of Intersections and a faculty member in the Department of Human Genetics. Her main focus at Emory is to educate future healthcare providers about genetics. Her research interests center on the accurate and consistent interpretation of genetic variation. Currently, she is helping to develop workshops and materials to educate primary care providers on the proper management of direct-to-consumer genetic test results.

Dr. Lewin is founder and Co-Editor in Chief of Intersections and a Professor of Pediatrics. She also serves as the Co-Director of the Woodruff Health Educators Academy where she oversees several interprofessional career development programs. Her current research interests include professional identity formation, interprofessional education, and clinical skills assessment, and she especially enjoys mentoring and supporting the career development of others.

Dr. Caudle is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Health as well as the Director of Graduate Studies for the Environmental Health Sciences PhD Program at the Rollins School of Public Health. As a faculty member, he describes his overarching responsibility as that of a mentor, whether that is in the classroom, in the research lab, or anywhere else learning occurs.

Dr. Hawks is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University. Her work with the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Health MN Program Enrichment initiative emphasizes preparing graduate nursing students to engage with emerging technologies and shape the future of care delivery. Her scholarship focuses on curriculum transformation, ethical integration of AI into nursing education, and international partnerships. Dr. Hawks is a co-investigator on funded projects addressing nurse burnout using AI and technology-enabled chronic disease management.

Dr. Marshall-Lee is an Assistant Professor, Emory Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and Clinical Director and the primary supervisor for the Adult Outpatient Program, Psychosocial Rehabilitation Clinic at Grady Health System. She received her PhD in 2001 from the University of Mississippi. Her major interests are in the areas of serious and persistent mental health concerns, personality disorders, marginalized community mental and physical health disparities, education and training, and social justice advocacy informed mental and physical health.
